QuantumFlo

QuantumFlo is a living entity—its lifeblood is its quality people, who are committed to excellence in every aspect of construction and design.

As a team, the QuantumFlo mantra is: “never stop innovating.” This is why our systems represent an exponential leap in packaged pump technology.

Meet the people that make QuantumFlo, Inc. the successful company it has become:

David Carrier—Founder & CEO
For the past 28+ years, David Carrier has worked in the packaged pumping systems market. He started as an independent representative in 1984, calling on engineers and contractors. Almost 30 years later, David is the author of several publications regarding packaged pump systems and specialized in the application and promotion of variable speed packaged system design. He was guest speaker on behalf of the industry during the 1996 ASPE (EPE 2006) National Convention, in Tampa, FL. As one who understands and enjoys the market, David is now the “hands-on” director for all sales and marketing of QuantumFlo, Inc., in addition to being its Chief Executive Officer.

Michael Carrier—CFO
Mike worked in the Plumbing/HVAC industry as a manufacturers’ representative during college and five years thereafter. During this time, he achieved the position of top mechanical and plumbing salesman and developed many contacts within the industry while assisting with the development of pump “wet-end” stocking programs for a major manufacturer. After earning a finance degree and leaving the industry to pursue a career as a Series 7 Licensed Financial Advisor and Banker, Mike returned to the industry as an owner at QuantumFlo and is uniquely qualified to lead the company from a financial perspective. Mike serves on the Board of Directors, as the company’s budgetary and financial planning consultant and Chief Financial Officer.

Phil Tuttobene—Quantum Custom Controls, Division Manager
As a formally educated electrical engineer (Rochester Institute of Technology, 1986), and entrepreneur competing in the heavily contested Retail Electronics markets (Theatre Automation Wow - 1998), Phil has spent nearly his entire career around variable speed drives. As an entrepreneur, Phil patented the original technology which led to the development of “Red Box” video rental kiosks in 1992.  He also founded Theatre Automation Wow, which produced critically acclaimed video image processors, and projectors (the precursor to HDTV) and digital DVD Players long before the technology became mainstream. Phil is now the Director of Electrical Development for QCC and one of its three partners.
